Is it difficult to learn a new language?
It’s not difficult at all to learn a new language. These listening courses are a great starting point. Whether you’re a tourist or a business traveler, you’ll learn the most important vocabulary and the correct pronunciation. No grammar. You’ll make quick progress this way. However, consistency and constant repetition are essential.
How long does it take to learn a new language?
From our experience with these vocabulary trainers: if you practice for fifteen minutes every day, after 14 days you’ll know most of the phrases you need on vacation (greetings, “where is…?”, “I would like…”, etc.). The course contains around 100 phrases. Questions about Wi-Fi or bathrooms are also included.
If you want to stay abroad permanently, you should have a vocabulary of at least 800 words (Level A). That’s enough to have a decent conversation. With 3,000 words (C1 language certificate), you’ll speak like a diplomat or an experienced student :-). The vocabulary of a native speaker starts at 15,000 words. The time it takes to learn a new language depends on how often you practice.
What makes these language courses different from other ones?
- The vocabulary is pronounced slowly and is very clear.
- The vocabulary is repeated several times depending on difficulty.
- The vocabulary is repeated at both a slow and normal pace of speech.
- Only the most important phrases and questions that you really need are practiced.
Unlike a Babbel course or a podcast, with these beginner audio courses you can practice all the vocabulary you need for your vacation in just one hour for free. You can listen online or offline. The phrase collections are perfect if you’re short on time, don’t want to learn anything unnecessary, or want to be able to communicate anywhere with just a few words.
