Naseer Turabi is a prominent Urdu poet and the son of Allama Rasheed Turabi, an Islamic scholar, public speaker and poet. Naseer Turabi, who has many works to his credit, most recently shot into prominence after his famous piece "Woh Hamsafar Tha" written in 1971 at the fall of Dhaka, was used as the title song of the hit television drama, "Hamsafar."
